Executive Chef - Michael Kenworthy, along with his team take great pleasure in creating imaginative dishes using fresh produce which is locally sourced as much as possible.

At The Fairfax Arms we take pride in using fresh, locally sourced ingredients. Executive chef Michael Kenworthy, is a renowned culinary expert from South Yorkshire. Recently moving to North Yorkshire, Michael and his team have taken a seasonal touch to our customers most favoured dishes.

Groups, Parties & Special Occasions:
Within our main restaurant and orangery we can cater for groups of up to 70 and can provide a private dining room for up to 20 people. Our chefs are happy to work with you to provide personal menus tailored to your individual requirements. The Fairfax Arms is a great venue for celebrations and functions of all sizes. As well as sit down meals we can provide a range of buffet menus to suit your needs.

Special Dietary Requirements:
Most of our menu is available in gluten free variations and we always have some vegetarian options on offer, however should you have any specific dietary needs please let us know in advance and we will do our best to cater to your requirements.

Making a Reservation:
We take reservations for both the dining room & the lounge / bar area, booking is highly recommended especially on Friday & Saturday evenings, we do however also try and accommodate as many walk ins as possible so if you are in the area and haven’t made a reservation with us it is always worth popping in.
