Celebrate The Coronation at the Fairfax Arms – 6th May 2023
Over the Coronation Bank holiday weekend 6th - 8th May, on the Saturday we will be showing The Coronation live on screens in our Orangery along with a BBQ.
On Sunday we are supporting the village association with their celebrations and hosting a bar at the village hall.
On Bank Holiday Monday, service will be as usual as we celebrate the last day of this Special Bank Holiday weekend.

The Platinum Jubilee at the Fairfax Arms
Celebrate the Platinum Jubilee at the Fairfax Arms.

We are looking forward to a joyous weekend of festivities celebrating the Queens Platinum Jubilee.
We will be serving food as normal between 12:00 & 4:00pm, then from 4:00pm onwards will be holding a ‘Jubilee Hog Roast’ outside.
We are also holding numerous events on Sunday 5th June:
We are having a cake competition At the Fairfax, judged by our chefs.
There are 3 age groups so everyone, including the kids, can get involved.
There will also be children’s entertainment and our unique ‘Quackers’ Duck races down the stream, with Prizes to be won from 4pm!

FAIRFAX ARMS SUPPORTS LOCAL CHARITY…
The Fairfax Arms has entered into collaboration with Park House Barns, which is a social enterprise and is part of the charity Autism Plus.
Park House Barns provide valuable employment and training for people with autism and other special needs. The majority of their business is chocolate making which they sell commercially. They also have a horticultural section which provides fruit and veg to the local community.
The Fairfax is now helping to support the charity. We take a lot of their produce and are now also taking their delicious chocolates for our rooms. Look out for them during your stay with us. End of an era
After 20 years we have handed the reigns of the Fairfax Arms to Mick and Sarah and family. We have had an amazing two decades with the Fax and all our staff and customers over the years, we would like to thank you all as it has been an absolute blast, the place has certainly changed over the last 20 years.
We are going to donate a defibrillator to the village in due course as a gesture of our heart felt gratitude to the village and all our customers. We will obviously will still be about to enjoy a pint with you all as usual, and would like to wish the new owners all the very best for the future, we are sure they will make a success of the Fairfax.
