Events at the Fairfax
We’re making a whole weekend of it this Yorkshire Day, with plenty to enjoy at The Fairfax Arms.
On Saturday 1st August, celebrate Yorkshire Day with one of last year’s most popular offers. Enjoy your choice of our freshly prepared Fish & Chips or a traditional Meat & Potato Pie, served with a pint, a small house wine or a soft drink for just £15.
The celebrations continue on Sunday 2nd August with our Yorkshire Quiz from 7pm. Teams of up to four can enter for £1 per person, with all proceeds going to the Yorkshire Air Ambulance. The winning team will take home a Yorkshire-themed hamper.
It’s also your final chance to enjoy our Pizza Fridays, with just two weeks remaining. Throughout August, Fridays will then become Fish & Chip Fridays, where you can enjoy the same great Friday offer of fish and chips with a pint, small house wine or soft drink for just £15, available to eat in or take away.
Looking ahead to the August Bank Holiday Monday (31st August), we’ll be serving a delicious Lamb on the Hog Roast from 1pm, followed by a Duck Race at 3pm. Ducks are just £1 each, with all proceeds supporting the Yorkshire Air Ambulance. We’re also hoping to have some live entertainment on the day, with more details to be announced soon.
